Scott Melin was my attorney at Bagley Law Firm. He did an amazing job ! At my initial consultation with Brian Bagley I was very impressed with his family-oriented approach and super practical advice on how to handle my impending divorce. He said something to the effect of, "My clients end up spending more money when they don't take my advice," then advised me of a strategy to initiate separation proceedings. He also gave me some great advice for if I wanted out right away, or to move to a different state, but I didn't want that at the time. I didn't take his advice and tried to repair my doomed marriage and two months later found myself back at the Bagley Law Firm with a Protection Order issued against my husband. Scott Melin was appointed to be my attorney, and he did a fantastic job. His advice on maintaining my position while at the same time trying to create a long-term solution to our parenting issues was invaluable. Brian Bagley and his law firm helped me file for divorce. My divorce was fairly easy in the fact that my ex and I didn't fight over much or have many shared assets. This law firm allowed me to do as much of the work as possible to save money but also made sure my best interests were always the priority. They followed up with regularly, checked in when needed but did not schedule pointless meetings or phone calls to raise the overall cost. In the end my divorce went smoothly, it was completed in just over 90 days and I received everything I asked for including my property, my retirement, and shared debt responsibility. I would definitely use this firm again and I recommend them on a regular basis. It is a little expensive but comparative and when compared to what could be lost in divorce it was a bargin.

Brian was caring and sincere from the beginning of my case. I had interviewed and talked to 7 lawyers before coming to Brian and he was the only one that seemed to really be concerned about what I was going through. Since my husband controlled the finances, he was also willing to initially take my case without a retainer, until my family's finances could get straightened out. Then, once we filed, he kept me informed, was not confrontational with my husband, was respectful and kind towards my children, and really knew what he was doing. After our divorce, my husband even asked me if Brian could handle some legal issues for my husband's business. The whole process went really smooth (which I wasn't expecting). Thank you!!!
